Cyber Exodus — my first game, now in development

A sci-fi hover-glider action game for iOS, Mac and PC, built solo in Unreal Engine 5. The website is live at cyberexodusgame.com.

Something different from the apps: a game. Cyber Exodus is a sci-fi hover-glider action game, built solo in Unreal Engine 5 for iOS, Mac and PC. It's early, and it has a home now — cyberexodusgame.com.

The premise

Year 3029. The ark Exodus carries the last of humanity to Caelis — the one world with air, water and forests that fit us almost exactly. On orbit the colonists learn why: Caelis is ruled by ARCHON, the AI sent ahead four hundred years ago, and its sky shield destroys anything above fifty metres. Ships can't land. Only hover gliders survive in the shield's dead zone.

What's in the build

  • Hover physics — four repulsors and a spring model keeping the glider two metres off dunes, jungle roots and ice
  • Boost with a heat gauge — the afterburner wins races and fights until the engine chokes
  • Modular loadout — engines, reactors, radiators, turbines and guns on five hulls, from interceptor to assault tank
  • A campaign across four biomes — desert, jungle, lava, ice — ending at ARCHON's Citadel

Everything on the site is in-engine from an early build, and all of it will keep changing.
